Democracy Now recently had a tribute to Yip Harburg and how he was blacklisted in Hollywood. What a great fellow, an amazing human which seems to be the case with most everyone that was involved with the Oz production. Up until it got to 'the suits'.

It's because they gave hims shit over the song 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow'. The suits wanted it out of the cut, but if that fucker wasn't an earworm. Obviously, we know how that turned out.
