Blogger Beat Down #18 - "Wooden Pajamas"

We lived in an apartment complex that had a covered central courtyard and just one floor. As I was talking with some friends we noticed that hanging from the ceiling in the center of the courtyard was a filled up black plastic trash bag. It was encased in mesh netting. The courtyard was enclosed. I didn't remember seeing it before until now. We were kids back then.I remember that I was leaving my apartment when when someone brought it to my attention. They wanted me to see, so I walked around cautiously and saw that it had large crazy energetic worms packed together and moving across the surface or within the bag where they were feeding off of something, and they kept moving along as if they were trying to hide from my view. They looked like pink or transparent eels. This courtyard was chilly and silent except for us. All the apartment doors were shut and you could see the moonlight stream through the opaque glass windows surrounding the lining around the top of the walls. That light revealed those worms.I remember at some point, someone mentioned something about a body and at the time it wasn't related to the bag, it had something to do with a missing person. I think they were talking about a body that was found or assumed a disappearance would result in a body.I said something to the effect of, what if the body was in that bag. It seemed big enough. Everyone acted like they wouldn't have thought of it but seemed to agree that this might be the case.That rancid bag might have fallen or they were taking it down. Someone said that it was stinking. I couldn't smell it cause I kept my distance on my side of the courtyard. (Dream Journal -12/02/13)
