Excited to talk about a new release by Fire Records, that takes me back to the DreamPop of my youth, far better than anything else I've heard in quite a long time, The Reds, Pinks & Purples' ninth album 'Acknowledge Kindness'.
I would say this is more SadPop because it's not dreamy to be sad, even though I've had some sad dreams, I wake up in a sudden because I don't want to be there. And yet, as much as I want to be here with this album, it does make me dwell on recent moments that I can't shake, where I had wished things had worked out differently. Especially the track "Build Love".
Anyway, spend some time with this record and see what it does for you.
