I'm not against over-thinking things, but if you let the over-thinkers take over, you'll leave them to define things like Window Art. Now, we can all appreciate work from the masters, but something this interesting can be appreciated too and on the same level.
Who cares about the motivation for this stuff, huh? IT'S FUN! People have fun with it, it generates excitement about 'what's next' when the dude parks it at work. It's a good pre-emptive move against a ticket, it pulls smokers away from the door entrance, etc.
I'm growing sick of the word Art. It's become stagnant and too broad for people to really center in on what it is. It's left to those over-thinkers to become scholars of something that has too broad of a meaning for us to understand. I say we take it BACK, like this guy - who's giving us something to talk about.
Yes, and he's local here, so this isn't just snapped off of some someone's website who is a local heavyweight somewhere else. He belongs to us.
