"Elmore Leonard's 10 Rules On Writing"

I first heard about this guy when Tarantino turned his book 'Rum Punch' into Jackie Brown. Yeah, sorry that I didn't hear about him before but we can only get around so much.

Recently, I had been thinking about him as I've been doing more hack writing, because my understanding of hack is far more relevant to literature than people will give it credit. Write fast and hard, and let the reader have it! Like the cheap paperbacks of the day where the events kept you following every page. It's what I went for when I wrote 'The Cool Out' about a month ago. Well, here is a link for some of his writing tips that should point you in the right direction.

Some solid advice, from the master himself. Rest In Peace sir.
