Look at humanitarianism. It's very easy to see how the idea of humanitarianism is the result of common sense. These are the laws by which all of us should be considered yet, there is still much resistance against it. Why?
Many civilizations are benefiting and develop into better ones using this philosophy. Why are there people in our society who still resisting this? What reasons do we have? I would like to hear a convincing argument as to why we one would think, it isn't mandatory. I already know what many of these reasons are. Try and correct them and they will either deliberately or unknowingly side-track or get side-tracked into other reasons that confuse the main point. Like my rants, they will go off on tangents about other things and yet, unlike my rants, they never come back to the point.
For instance. The popular conservative principle that many have adopted as their own mimic nationalism which in turn, is extreme-patriotism. It's the same thing, but those people will dispute this to no end, without providing any proof that it's necessary or should exist. They get hung-up on the wrong things and ideas that don't matter. So, what are we to do?
It doesn't appear that we have a solution, but in fact, more people are accepting humanitarianism than before! The seeds of commonsense have been planted by technology which has stimulated growth. For those of us who are able to do something about it, we've grouped together in small clusters of societies and have put social progress into the hands of the humanitarian. As it becomes clearer that we are heading in this direction, all will be on board.

We can take the approach that this traditional organization has, as they mention in the first paragraph of 'An Individual Letter'
PERSONAL REALIZATION
In the rush and activity of the world today, man has neither the time nor the tranquility to indulge in philosophical supposition. Nor has he the interest. What we want is the answer which satisfies us individually and according to which we can lead a daily life, which is active, constructive and above all productive of results. No one can answer these questions for us in detail, for the circumstances composing the life of one individual vary from those of the next.
The answer, which has meaning for one, will be meaningless for another. Just as these queries arise in ourselves and addressed to ourselves, so must the answer arise in ourselves and apply to ourselves. Its meaning has importance because it is a personal realization of truth. A personal realization of truth is essentially a first hand affair. It is something, which we have learned from ourselves and not from what others have taught or told us by book or by word.
This is changing though. It seems that more people are influenced by others where openness is encouraged and practiced.
Of course, the other thing here is, why would I reference the Society of Rosicrucians? One reason is to pay tribute to that influential order that established the basic foundations of many other orders since. This is only used as a basis for a structure of organization, not an ideology.
