Laporte, Texas is a nice place. It's small and rural. There are a lot of nice people there and I've got family there. Sometimes those two things are entirely unrelated, but I don't wish them the kind of harm that our state government seems to want by refusing to regulate places like the Dupont chemical plant that just killed four people.
