I haven't cared about McConnell since he first froze up on camera and so the recent talk about Laura Loomer's update on Mitch McConnell's health is news to me. I wasn't even aware that he was admitted to the hospital on June 14, reportedly found unconscious at his DC home.
A perhaps still unverified account of an EMS call recording about his condition at the time, attempts to confirm this if only to generate some excitement for those of us who have always hated the bastard.
This emergency dispatch recording was obtained from Washington, D.C. Fire and EMS dispatch and captures the call on June 14, 2026 at 8:36 a.m. requesting an Advanced Life Support (ALS) response after Senator Mitch McConnel was reported unconscious. After years of following what this man has done over several presidencies, it's impossible to have any sympathy for his health. It's irritating that headlines are expressing "concern" for him, especially when the latest updates are coming from right wing MAGAt Laura Loomer who expresses concern for Mitch McConnell's health, claiming that he's in the same state she's been in, "brain dead".

Laura Loomer & Mitch McConnell are Two of a Kind
For decades now, since the Clinton administration, I've witnessed McConnell do detestable things. Specifically, he would block picks by Democratic presidents, weaponize GOP power in the senate and generally play the long game since to where we are now.
Sure, there's been some flexing between he and MAGAts but for the most part, Laura Loomer making herself popular for saying that Mitch McConnell is brain dead — isn't because she's glad. It's generally to build up sympathy for a long time, even self-proclaimed 'grim reaper' of bipartisanship.
But, if I'm reading that wrong than in a way, Loomer is approaching this such as he has, using his strategy against him.
For a while we've been seeing MAGAts eating away at the norms of how Congress has always worked, in order to rot government from the inside out. Essentially, stating that the time of the old to make way for a new, more dangerous era of legislation. The only thing we can hope for is that we can hold the line longer against a complete destruction of the norms.
Is Mitch McConnell More Than "Brain Dead"?
As more continues to develop about these reports, there's some speculation that McConnell might have died but it's being kept quiet for political reasons.
Those reasons are being touted due to Kentucky's succession law which states that when a Senate seat becomes vacant, the current Democratic governor — Andy Beshear — has to choose one of three replacements that the state GOP submits and being that the slate is now full of writing MAGAts who hated McConnell, would replace him.
McConnell's own team is perhaps keeping his death a secret so that his enemies can't take over. Laura loomer's "reporting" of him being "brain dead" is trying to incite some effort to speed up the process of succession. How long does his team expect to drag this out before something would have to give?
