Being at home all the time -- I decided somewhere down the line that.. it doesn't matter what I look like and not really caring who knows it, I started thinking it would be best if I let everyone know.  So I've started leaving the apartment dressed in Pajamas.

I intend on obtaining quite a collection in the next few months.  Would a teddy bear backpack be too much?

After several shots of 'Rotgut'... I headed over to Doublewide, TX to talk to True Widow before their show Friday night in my Pajamas.

Note :The space ran out on the cam, there was not enough light and I was struggling to put things together... blaming said 'Rotgut'.

Since the space ran out on the cam, I recorded the rest on the phone. The stuff left out was about their video for AKA.  Very Impressive.

Dan: "I think it's more... a reaction from us, like it's not as preconceived .. were gonna make the fuckin desert sounds. It's just like when we hear it back it's like awe man it makes me feel like 'this' or um, I don't know."

Or: "What are you guys working on; you guys working on anything new? Or are you just doing the tour thing right now?"

Dan: "Yeah we've got demos, uh recorded and we've been playing new songs, uh but nothing like in the works yet like for a new album, but... were ready for it.  Whenever it happens.

Or: "Just part of the creative process, naturally let it come together."

Slim: "Yeah, were not sure where we fill out right now, you know.. we feel were there where maybe we will record another album this year... like you were saying... we received, got a lot of love for that record late last year."

Dan: "Yeah, its' still new for a lot of people."

Or:  "Isn't it, what they say that an average of two years... it takes for an album to make its' rounds, to circulate?"

Dan: "Yeah, I don't know man.. you release an album and just hope it does well ya know?"

Slim said something here, but it was out of recording range so I couldn't catch it

Dan: "...But that's been the nice thing, you know? A lot of 'word of mouth'... friends of friends turning stuff on, you know?  There's nothing -- we can't do anything else other than put the record out and try to go on tour a couple of times.  We don't have some big 'machine' behind us, trying to blow it up. It just has to happen on it's own."

Or:  "Well the point is, its about 'the art', its definitely art... and what I appreciate about you guys is that, most bands that start up here (Dallas) decide to, you know... 'head off' further South. It's like Susan Sarandon denying 'Rocky Horror'... like, "Yeah I never made that movie," ya know? "I don't know what your talking about."

Dan "Well we ARE Dallas, I mean it's like Rob is from here... I've lived all over the place. Dallas is...  that's my home and I'm comfortable here and able to do my thing here, it just makes it easier I guess."

Or: "The album when you put it together, I mean.. you've got a beginning and you have an end..."

At this point the recording failed me again, but they explained the process of arranging the songs on the album and elaborated on what would or wouldn't work.

Whatever out-takes, I would love to hear them. As I told them in closing, It's one of my favorite albums and I've listened to it quite a bit since it's release. Click on the cover below to download from ***endsounds***.
