This cover completely throws me off, because ive been keeping up with Lynch's latest interviews and get a different type of tone from him. There is something in the facial expressions of old men that directs your attention elsewhere. They are emotionless and reading them is confusing. Lynch's work is one thing, and then he is totally something else and now his music plays a part in creating yet, a third identity that i can't place, but it's a good thing to keep you guessing right? I just wish that sometimes he was easier to define... causing me to make my approach from another angle.
