Why are we national brown berets?

The more accurate term is Revolutionary Nationalists.
Revolutionary: politically fall within the spectrum of Socialist Marxist ideology. In general we are fighting against capitalism and imperialism.
Nationalist: Our primary purpose is, why we are "brown" berets, not rainbow or multi-colored berets is because we are specifically fighting for the liberation of Chicanos and our nation of Aztlan.
Every major revolutionary struggle of the oppressed was Nationalist, they fought to liberate their people from imperialism.
There are different forms of nationalism. White nationalism is racists and pushes the continued supremacy of the White race. There are those who use the concept of loyalty and racial solidarity for evil purposes. We don't, we use it to engender love and self determination and eventual liberation.
