It saddens me to learn that actor Patrick Muldoon has died. I'm not alone in that the only thing I ever saw him in was Starship Troopers (1997), which I've watched repeatedly ever since then with glee. I've only ever seen one other movie he was in afterwards once, but don't remember him in it, Stigmata (1999), which is really, really bad. It might deserve another watch so I can see the part he played.
Muldoon's cause of death
His cause of death was revealed to be a heart attack suffered Sunday morning. Two days prior to this, he posted his last Instagram about his upcoming film Kockroach.
As of this writing, the status of this movie is still in-production and unknown if his role is unfinished. It also looks like he had five other projects coming up, with 3 in pre-production, one in post and one completed. Dirty Hands is to be released by the end of this week which ironically also stars Denise Richards. Two other movies they appeared in together before this one is A Christmas Reunion (2015), and my Adventures with Santa (2019). The film in post-production Stay at Home, should it come out, would be the final film of his.
