This tech support job that I'm at these days is really strange. My fellow corporate brother and sister call me about there problems... and it goes past the typical 'man vs machine' issue, you can detect the stress that they are under over the phone... convincing me, in the end that the machine has won... haven't these people heard the new Radiohead? We'll here's a list of other stuff they haven't heard!

1::: "I Believe In Lassies" - Text Adventure (06.12.07)

The great thing about an album like this is when it totally catches you off guard, then your quickly mesmerized by it's beauty.  It proves once again you can do a hell of a lot with very little.  I now believe in the power of lo-fi, 10 better than demo efforts that demand your attention in this dark end of the year.

2::: Sleeping States - There the Open Spaces (09.18.07)

It's the gentle acapella stylings that make this album somewhat unique, a much more acceptable effort than Bjork's Medulla (Ugh), and why bands like this (Kings of Convenience) are easier to listen to without having to think about another "flash in the pan."

"Rivers" (2006)
