UGH!
I tried to get this out before the December 26th and 27th shows but didn't have time to render it or whatever it's called when you export a file. I mean export a file. Still, it works as a late episode and a floater up until the first of the new year and even further, for those who haven't had enough of the holidays. I'm talking to you with the Christmas lights still up. It's more than what I've done in the past with the podcast, playing around with a new format. Along with playing some holiday themed tracks you've never heard before and more!
The New Format?
I spend about as much time writing as I do fighting and arguing with other people. I guess the writing part is still an argument in written form that i'm trying to get out there in some way but the fluid argument still happens when I'm with real people and in all cases, I feel like I'm running up against the clock, which makes me feel like I'm arguing for my life.
I want to talk about writing and some of my experiences with it. When I've listened to some of these episodes, I've tried to think about how I should include them and it looks like I'll have to introduce them as segments. Which means, I'll be introducing more segments along the way. Here are the two segments I'm referring to:
Eat Shit Or Die Trying
This segment will be about the problems internet writer's face. I think it's pretty safe to say that writers don't write because they're trying to strike it rich. They write because they have a compulsion to do so. So, I can't shake off that compulsion and it's gotten me into some financial trouble. It always does so, that blog/segment is about that fight. and for those of us who want to work from home.
House Of CardBoard
This is more about the ordeals in my daily life. Each one of them is a story, a discussion or something about my life. Those will be less present because I don't want to saturate the podcast with the swill in my life.
Survival Journalism
You may already be familiar with this blog. We haven't done many updates on it recently but maybe we'll get that going when we do the podcast, but I include it because, In talking about segments; I want to talk about this one. This is going to be a separate podcast altogether. If anything, I will create a trailer for this to sneak into and promote within the Incendiary American podcast. Just so you know that it's commentary about current events, politics, news and other things in our world.
