Acrassicauda 'Only the Dead See The End Of The War' (Vice)

I've been waiting for this for some time now. This is the legitimate metal band. Some years back, since the Iraq invasion, these boys were living in the middle of a death metal landscape of executions, mutilations, gun battles and some of the most horrific atrocities ever committed. They were constantly under threat by insurgents over their music being considered "un-Islamic". They fled Iraq to Syria, leaving their families and selling their equipment for the trip. Their documentary was like a plea for help and they finally got it. Guitar manufacturers donated equipment and they finally made their way to the United States. Testament's Alex Skolnick produced the EP.

Even if you don't like metal, check these guys out.  They got tons of talent and really love what they do, enough to die for it.

Now that they've come to America, welcome them.
